Just a few pics this morning. Then we're off for a 100 mile run stopping 30 miles short of the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers.

Safe and secure at Kaskaskia Lock and Dam for last night after a shortish day rebuilding our confidence in our steering system.

The Commander-in-Chief salutes the colors during a relaxed afternoon at the lock.

The Army Corps of Engineers is constantly working to keep the river systems navigable.

During the second half of the afternoon, we saw three tugs with a surprising number of barges each back through the lock and then back downstream on the Kaskaskia River into the Mississippi where they would headed upstream.

Lovely pics. Ok with me if you start having less heart-stopping adventures.
